Ross Labour Stall

The Ross-on-Wye branch is having a stall on Saturday 23rd March, at Ross Market Place, from 10.30 – 15.30 to promote voter registration & why voting matters, and to collect for the Ross Community Larder.

Please come along and say hello to our candidates, and help us to hand out Voter Registration cards. If you can give half an hour or an hour (or two!) it will be much appreciated. Another opportunity to put Ross Labour Party on the town map.

The Community Larder needs our support, particularly at this time of year, so please bring along donations of tinned food such as fruit, veg, fish and soups, biscuits and cleaning products such as washing up liquid and toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc. It will be great to see you!

Guest Speaker at the February 28th General Meeting

We are pleased to welcome Christine Pepler (Society Link Officer for Hereford Diocese) as our guest speaker at our meeting on 28th February. Christine is one of eight experts who gave evidence at a regional hearing in Bristol for the UN Special Rapporteur about the effects of austerity and the introduction of Universal Credit based on her experience of the hardship suffered in rural areas in the Hereford Diocese. The UN Report was published in November 2018 and makes harrowing reading.

The meeting is at the Railway Club, Barton Yard, Hereford, HR4 0AZ at 7:30pm.
